Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Manager for their clinics in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bharu. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee the operations of a specific geographical region within the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing branch staff, driving sales and revenue growth, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service.

What you'll do:

As a Regional Manager for our client's clinics in Kuala Lumpur, you will play a pivotal role in leading the operations of this geographical region. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing branch staff, driving sales growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering top-notch customer service. You'll also be tasked with developing regional sales strategies to meet revenue targets, monitoring financial performance, preparing regular reports for management review, collaborating with other departments to align goals, and conducting thorough assessments of underperforming clinics. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively balance multiple responsibilities while maintaining a focus on patient care.

  • Manage and motivate a team of clinical staff, including administrative personnel, and support staff.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, compliance standards, and licensing requirements.
  • Develop and manage the branch budget, including expense control and revenue forecasting.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales, operations, and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their specific needs and goals.
  • Perform in-depth assessments of underperforming clinics to identify root causes of issues.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Regional Manager position brings a wealth of experience in healthcare operations management. With your diploma or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or business management, you have developed strong leadership skills that enable you to effectively manage diverse teams. Your sound knowledge of healthcare regulations ensures that all branch activities adhere to legal guidelines. Your excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with your familiarity with healthcare systems and clinic management software, make you a valuable asset in this role. Your strong communication skills enable you to build relationships with medical professionals, staff, and stakeholders. Lastly, your budgeting and financial management skills will be crucial in managing the branch budget.

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or business management.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in healthcare operations management.
  • Sound knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and accreditation requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems, and clinic management software CxSYS(advantage).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Budgeting and financial management skills.
