An attractive job opportunity in a rapidly growing personal care manufacturer is available. The firm is looking for an R&D Manager to lead all development and optimisation efforts for its personal care division. This position directly reports to the CEO.

About the R&D Manager Role:

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategies, plans and results that will help the firm achieve its organisational and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulating and modifying existing and new solutions for the personal care industry
• Providing customer solutions and support needs which include product trials
• Participating in optimising solutions at customer location and raw material
• Demonstrating the effectiveness of systems and develop solutions for customers
• Training and development for staff in the area of technological knowledge, including processes

To be successful in this role, you should have prior experience in the personal care industry, and knowledge about the formulation of skin care and home care products.

Key Requirements:

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or equivalent in related Science field with minimum of ten years working experience in a similar environment
• Able to compose solutions and optimise personal care product formulation and processing
• Computer skills - proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access
• Excels at operating in a fast pace, team-based environment
• Open to direction and collaborative working styles and possesses commitment to get the job done
• Demonstrated leadership ability
