About the Executive Director Role:
Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for supervising and controlling all strategic and business aspects of the company. You will be the first in command in the company and responsible for giving the proper strategic direction as well as creating a vision for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a workplace culture, where people love to perform and contribute
• Develop high-quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives
• A “doer”. Someone with proven track-record of independently shaping and growing an organisation with his own independent thought and ambition. An entrepreneur, missing the final risk taker element. Ability to point to specific examples.
• Lead and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement develop a high performing managerial team
• Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
• Understand the market and customer requirements we need to satisfy, to ensure our company`s growth plans
• Act as a professional advisor to the Board of Directors

To succeed in this role, you must be a prudent manager and an inspiring leader. The ideal candidate will have a business mindset and will be able to see the “big picture” in a variety of settings.

Key Requirements:

• Advanced technical degree as well as commercial degree, i.e. MBA, with at least 10 years of senior management experience
• Excellence in organisational management with the ability to coach staff, manage, and develop high-performance teams, set and achieve strategic objectives, and manage budgets and financial requirements
• Drive exciting marketing initiatives to create demand and interest, with customer needs in mind, while winning against the competition
• Unwavering commitment to quality programmes and data-driven programme evaluation
• Past success working with Board of Directors with the ability to cultivate existing board member relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills
• Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to business building
• Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people
• Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed (independent thought and opinion)
