Branch Manager (FMCG)

Our client is on the hunt for a proactive and hands-on Branch Manager (FMCG) to bolster their day-to-day operations in a rapidly expanding SME food production environment. What you'll do:

As an Branch Manager (FMCG), you will be at the heart of our client's operations. Your role will involve supporting the CEO in managing daily production across various departments. You will take a hands-on approach to floor supervision and staff coordination while also troubleshooting operational issues. Your commitment to developing and implementing SOPs will ensure consistency, efficiency, and safety within the workplace. You will play a crucial part in maintaining compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Your keen eye will monitor stock levels, production schedules, and daily output to facilitate a smooth workflow. Your involvement in internal audits, quality checks, and compliance reviews will be vital to our ongoing success. Furthermore, your ability to train team members on SOPs, hygiene practices, and productivity improvement will enhance our team's performance. Lastly, your collaboration with cross-functional teams such as QC, warehouse procurement, and logistics will ensure seamless operations.

• Support the CEO in overseeing daily production and operations across departments.
• Play an active role in floor supervision, staff coordination, and operational troubleshooting.
• Help develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, efficiency, and safety.
• Ensure all operational activities comply with food safety and hygiene regulations (MeSTI, HALAL, HACCP, GMP, etc.).
• Monitor stock levels, production schedules, and daily output to support smooth workflow.
• Participate in internal audits, quality checks, and compliance reviews.
• Train and guide team members on SOPs, hygiene practices, and productivity improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as QC, warehouse, procurement, and logistics.

You possess a strong understanding of food safety standards which you've gained over 2-3 years of work experience. Your ability to communicate effectively in both Bahasa Malaysia and English will be crucial in this role.

• At least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant operations role.

• Effective communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
