We are seeking a Chief Data Officer to spearhead the creation and execution of their Group data strategy. This role will concentrate on propelling data innovation, governance, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives across the organisation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency, customer insights, and decision-making.
What you'll do:
As the Chief Data Officer (CDO), you will be entrusted with leading the formulation and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the Group's business goals. You will establish and enforce data governance frameworks while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Your role will involve promoting the use of data analytics to unlock business insights and recommending strategies for growth. You will also spearhead the development of scalable data infrastructure to support enterprise-level analytics. Leading a high-performing team is crucial in this role as well as collaborating closely with key business units.

• Ensure the company complies with all regulatory and compliance requirements related to data management.

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing data team.
• Collaborate closely with key business units such as marketing, risk management, finance, and operations to identify data-driven opportunities for improvement.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Chief Data Officer (CDO) position should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. You should bring along at least 10-15 years of experience in data management with a strong background in the financial services or credit industry. Your expertise in data analytics and business intelligence tools such as SQL, Python, Hadoop, Spark, AWS etc. will be crucial for this role. You should have experience in leading enterprise-wide data transformation initiatives and a strong knowledge of data privacy and security regulations. Excellent communication skills are required to present complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in data management.
• Strong background in the financial services or credit industry.
• Expertise in data analytics, business intelligence tools such as SQL, Python, Hadoop, Spark, AWS etc.

• Strong knowledge of data privacy and security regulations.
