Our client is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a bustling shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves overseeing daily operations, tenant management, leasing, sales strategy, HR, financial planning, and ensuring compliance with safety, ethics, and governance standards.
What you'll do:
As the General Manager of the Shopping Mall, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the mall. Your responsibilities will extend from managing tenant relationships to ensuring that all asset management functions are running smoothly. You will also be tasked with preparing financial budgets and monitoring performance against these budgets. Your ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with government departments and other stakeholders will be crucial to your success in this role.
- Develop and implement approved procedures and systems across mall functions to ensure smooth coordination among various internal departments
- Maintain a long-term beneficial relationship with all existing tenants and Retail Groups
- Monitor all asset management functions including leasing, marketing & promotion, property management, tenant relationship management and customer services
- Prepare, review and adjust financial budgets and monitor performance against budget
- Follow legal procedures with respect to mall operations and tenant interactions
- Maintain good working relationships with relevant Government departments and internal/external stakeholders

You are known for your strategic thinking abilities coupled with sound business acumen. Your understanding of managing Service Level Agreements such as cleaning, security & facilities management sets you apart. - Minimum 10 years of experience in shopping mall management
