An industry-leading company is seeking a highly skilled Dealer Principal (Automotive) to manage their branch in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the overall performance of the branch, focusing on sales and profitability of New Vehicles, Parts & Accessories, and Service operations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maximising productivity and profitability through efficient and effective management of overall branch operations.

What you'll do:

As a Dealer Principal (Automotive), your primary responsibility will be to drive the overall performance of the branch. You will play a pivotal role in expanding the branch business, planning strategic initiatives that align with the company's mission and vision. Your leadership will be crucial in overseeing and guiding Heads of Departments in implementing programs set by Management to achieve desired objectives and goals in both after sales and sales. Your expertise will ensure that the branch consistently meets its overall business turnover, PBIT, and ROAIC targets.

  • Ensure that the branch meets its overall business turnover, PBIT and ROAIC targets
  • Expand the branch business
  • Plan business strategies aligning to the company mission and vision
  • Oversee and guide the developed plans and annual sales / expenses budget in line with overall Company’s budget
  • Oversee and guide the HODs’ in implementing programs set by the Management to achieve desired objectives and goals in both aftersales and sales as well as meeting the KPIs set by the Group

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Dealer Principal (Automotive) role brings a wealth of experience from the automotive industry. With a degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Studies, Administration or Economics, you have spent at least three years honing your skills as a dealer principal or branch manager. Your ability to communicate effectively at all levels, coupled with your proficiency in local dialects, sets you apart. Your strong interpersonal relationship and communication skills make you an excellent leader who can inspire teams towards achieving common goals.

  • Degree holder in Sales & Marketing / Business Studies / Administration / Economics
  • Minimum 3 years of dealer principal / branch management experience in the automotive industry
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and speak local dialects
  • Strong interpersonal relationship and communication skills
