Our client is seeking a dedicated and resourceful Customer Service Representative to join their team in Penang. This role offers an exciting opportunity to assist the Sales Manager in various activities, including customer order and delivery, after-sales support, and reporting on daily backlog and booking status. The successful candidate will have the chance to work independently, interact with people, and contribute positively to the team.

What you'll do:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales Manager with various tasks. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing customer orders and deliveries, tracking outgoing shipments, providing after-sales support, monitoring account credits, and reporting on daily backlog and booking statuses. You will also be expected to handle new customer setups in NAV along with related forms and applications. Your ability to work independently while maintaining strong interpersonal connections will be key to your success in this role.

  • Assist in customer order and delivery activities
  • Handle new customer setup and related forms and applications
  • Track outgoing shipments and provide updates to customers
  • Provide after-sales support including handling customer complaints and special requirements
  • Monitor credit for all accounts
  • Report on daily backlog and booking status
  • Support tasks assigned by the sales manager

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Customer Service Representative role brings a blend of technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, and industry experience. You should hold a Diploma or Degree in Business/Marketing or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential for this role. You should be able to work independently while interacting effectively with others. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are vital for this position. A self-motivated, resourceful individual with a positive work attitude would thrive in this role. Possession of own transport is required. A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is necessary for this position.
