Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for leading and managing the leasing operations across diverse portfolio of properties (majority retail). Key Responsibilities:

• Leasing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive leasing strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives to maximise occupancy rates and rental revenues
• Portfolio Management: Oversee the leasing activities for a diverse range of properties, including retail units (majority), office spaces, residential complexes, and mixed-use developments
• Tenant Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with existing and potential tenants, addressing their needs, resolving concerns, and ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction
• Market Research: Continuously monitor and analyse real estate market trends, competitor activities, and economic indicators to adapt leasing strategies and maintain a competitive edge
• Negotiation: Lead lease negotiations with prospective tenants, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the company while meeting tenant requirements
• Lease Documentation: Collaborate with legal teams to draft, review, and finalise lease agreements and related documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of leasing professionals, providing guidance, setting performance goals, and facilitating their growth within the company
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses and feasibility studies to evaluate potential lease deals, assessing the financial impact on the company and making informed recommendations
• Reporting: Prepare regular leasing performance reports, occupancy forecasts, and market updates for presentation to senior management
• Networking: Establish and maintain a strong network of industry contacts, including brokers, property managers, and potential tenants, to enhance leasing opportunities
• Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with property management, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless leasing operations and integrated business strategies
• Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to leasing and property management to ensure compliance and risk mitigation

To succeed in this Head of Leasing (Mixed Properties) role, you will need to possess a deep understanding of the real estate market, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven track record in retail/commercial leasing.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, business administration, or related field (master's degree is preferred)
• Minimum of eight years of progressive experience in retail leasing within the real estate or shopping mall industry
• Strong knowledge of property development, leasing practices, and market dynamics
• Proven track record of successful lease negotiations and deal closures
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
• Proficiency in real estate and financial analysis tools
• Familiarity with legal aspects of lease agreements and property transactions
• Strategic thinking and ability to adapt to changing market conditions
