Supplier Quality Manager

What you'll do:

As a Supplier Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high-quality standards of our client's products. You will be responsible for leading first piece production inspections at supplier premises, developing Quality Inspection Check Sheets, managing coordination between suppliers and quality inspectors, among other duties. Your ability to collaborate effectively with Procurement and Engineering teams will be crucial in ensuring product integrity during transit. Your commitment to continuous improvement will drive your success in this role.

• Oversee first piece production inspections at supplier premises to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Develop and approve Quality Inspection Check Sheets, setting inspection criteria for new product localization prior to initial mass production.
• Manage coordination between suppliers and quality inspectors for outgoing inspections to ensure performance targets are achieved.
• Ensure the calibration and proper use of key measuring equipment and inspection jigs across all supplier sites.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Engineering teams on supplier part qualifications and packaging solutions to ensure product integrity during transit.
• Ensure all suppliers comply with company regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements.
• Review and continuously improve product assembly guidelines, ensuring availability of materials and resources.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control guidelines and protocols.
• Lead training programs for new inspectors, suppliers, and vendors on quality assurance standards and best practices.
• Monitor supplier performance, drive corrective actions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
