A leading metal manufacturing company is seeking a Process & Quality Manager/Assistant Manager to ensure the products meet factory requirements, cost-effective, good quality and are produced within a safe working environment. in this job, you will report directly to the Operations Head.
About the Process & Quality Manager/Assistant Manager Role: In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the quality system to ensure product quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring the quality of products are meeting factory requirements and customer expectations by following the correct processes
Documenting and implementing Standard Work Instructions and Standard Processes
Solving problems related to the product and process within the plant, as well as addressing any customer issues related to the product
Developing quality protocols for new and existing products
Driving continuous improvement of QA activities by reviewing manufacturing procedures, SOPs, and undertaking corrective actions to resolve any issues
Ensuring the conformance of quality standards, instructions, guidelines and procedures to drive quality standardisation
Making sure that the internal quality audit and quality management review are carried out in accordance with ISO requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills, and be able to work cross-functionally with all other departments internally and externally.
Key Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Chemical, Ceramics, Metallurgy Engineering or any relevant discipline
Eight or more years of quality and process improvement experience in the manufacturing industry
Familiar with SAP, Quality Tools, and Statistical Analysis
Experience with providing training to different levels of people
Knowledge of TQM, Six Sigma, SPC. 8D, fishbone, Why-Why, etc.
Broad and comprehensive understanding of material, composite behaviour
Able to multitask and be independent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical approach to problem-solving
Good leadership skills to guide and mentor the team
