Our client is seeking an Interior Designer to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for design and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will assist in the development of stores, ensuring alignment with brand identity and customer experience goals.
What you'll do:
As an Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual aesthetics of our client's retail spaces. You will assist in developing store designs that align with the brand's identity and enhance customer experience. Your responsibilities will include managing projects from conception to completion within budget and time constraints. You will collaborate closely with your team to create compelling design proposals and detailed designs. Additionally, you will contribute to quality control processes and ensure compliance with design intent and construction standards.
- Assist in the development of stores, ensuring alignment with brand identity and customer experience goals.
- Manage projects end-to-end including project management, from design to execution in a budget and timely manner.
- Collaborate with the team to produce design proposals, detail designs, related drawings, model, images, materials and presentations.
- Contribute to quality control processes, including site inspections, to ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, and construction standards.
- Comply with company procedures and standards, liaise with the external design team and other organisations as needed.
- Perform other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/ management.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Interior Designer role should have a Diploma or Degree in Architecture or Interior Design or other related disciplines. You should have between 5 years of work experience in the Interior Design or Architecture field. Experience in designing for retail industries would be advantageous. Key skills required include proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Modelling & Rendering, Photoshop and Presentation. You should have strong visualization and conceptualization skills along with an understanding of brand identity. The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and alter priorities when required is essential. You should also stay current on the latest design trends and innovations.
- Must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Architecture/ Interior Design or other related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 year work experience in related Interior Design / Architecture field.
- Past experience in designing retail industries is an advantage.
- Required Skill(s): AutoCAD, 3D Modelling & Rendering, Photoshop, Presentation.
- Strong visualization and conceptualization skills and ability to understand the brand identity.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, altering priorities when required.
- Stay current on the latest design trends and innovations.
