Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager with a focus on Electrical & Instrumentation. What you'll do:
As a Senior Project Manager specialising in Electrical & Instrumentation, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing a competent Project Management Team. Your excellent organisational skills will be utilised in monitoring project cash flows, controlling costs, and maximising profit margins. You will also be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships while supervising staff, subcontractors, material suppliers, and utility providers. Your ability to plan work schedules based on client requirements will be crucial in this role.
- Establish, monitor, control and manage the Project Management Team
- Approve all Project Standard of Procedure
- Monitor, manage and report the project cash flow and project account
- Control and minimise the project cost and maximise the project profit margin
- Serve and maintain good relationships with customers
- Supervise and coordinate staff, subcontractors, material suppliers and utility providers
- Plan work schedule based on client’s requirements
- Monitor overall project budget ensuring costs are kept within budget
- Check and verify drawings/documents done by draftsman/engineer for client approval
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Project Manager role will bring a wealth of experience from the construction industry. With at least 10-15 years under your belt, including managing at least five full project life cycles as a Project Manager, you have proven your ability to deliver results. Your knowledge extends to all aspects of project management including time, cost, quality, safety as well as strategic planning and risk management. Your strong customer orientation is evident in your previous roles where you have consistently promoted customer interests.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
- Experience in managing at least 5 project life cycles as a Project Manager
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in construction industry including all aspects of process development and execution
- Knowledge in Project Management, Time, Cost, Quality & Safety
- Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management
- Strong customer orientation and willingness to promote customer interests
