What you'll do:
As a Project Execution Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our battery projects across the Asia Pacific region. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve providing technical leadership, understanding complex regulatory requirements, managing technical interfaces, and ensuring safety regulations are adhered to. You will also support our sales team with your technical expertise during project acquisition. Your ability to develop, implement, and monitor project execution plans will be crucial in this role. You will manage logistics of battery products according to agreed terms and conditions. Your leadership skills will shine as you guide internal processes through all stages of project execution until commercial operation.

  • Provide technical leadership to customers and partners during the engineering phase of battery projects
  • Understand and comply with technical and regulatory requirements of battery installation and grid/renewables connections
  • Manage technical interfaces between battery block, power conversion system (PS) and other electrical components of the project
  • Ensure compliance with project-specific safety regulations
  • Support sales team with technical expertise during project acquisition
  • Take responsibility for battery project execution, ensuring completion according to agreed timeline and scope
  • Develop, implement, and monitor project execution plan, providing clear direction to internal & external stakeholders
  • Prepare, report and present project status for management reviews
  • Manage logistics of battery products according to delivery terms and conditions agreed in Supply Contract
  • Lead internal processes through all project execution stages until commercial operation

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Project Execution Manager role will bring a wealth of experience in engineering and construction management within the power generation market. You will have a strong technical understanding of electrical systems, underpinned by a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Your deep knowledge in project management, possibly supported by a PMP/PMI certification, will be crucial in this role. As a team player with a solution-oriented way of working and customer-oriented mindset, you will fit seamlessly into our inclusive and supportive team environment. Your willingness to travel within the region and internationally demonstrates your commitment to the role. Strong verbal and written English language skills are essential, and knowledge of other languages is a plus.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering and construction management in the power generation market with utilities, project developers and EPCs
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical systems
  • Deep knowledge in project management; Project management certification PMP/PMI or similar is advantageous
  • Team player with a solution-oriented way of working and customer-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to travel within region and internationally
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills; knowledge of other languages to communicate with clients is a plus
  • Professional knowledge of MS Office tools
