About the Project Manager (Solar) Role:
Reporting directly to the Senior Project Director, this position plays a critical role in ensuring the project works with scope compliance, schedule and cost optimisation in priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and closure phases of LSS (Large Scale Solar) projects. This includes preparing project schedules, resource and cost plans, risk management plans, and procurement plans during the planning phase. During execution, you will implement project tracking and monitoring strategies, cost control, quality control, and risk control. In the closure phase, you will coordinate the handover to asset management, O&M, and post-construction teams
• Lead and manage a multi-expertise project team, ensuring that all team members work collaboratively to achieve project goals
• Oversee and manage the master project work program for the EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) phase
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks. Act as a troubleshooter for site issues and provide problem-solving solutions as necessary
• Be accountable for the cost, timeline, and quality of the LSS EPCC project, ensuring that it meets company standards and expectations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external project stakeholders. Lead communication efforts related to the project and keep all relevant parties informed
• Review and coordinate acceptance procedures and construction methods to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Report regularly to the Project Director and Senior Management of the Company on project progress, challenges, and achievements
• Act as the on-site representative for the company, ensuring that project activities align with company objectives and standards

To succeed in this Project Manager (Solar) role, you will need to have a minimum of five years of experience in managing solar system projects by leading a group of project engineers.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/civil engineering or equivalent
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interactions and internal collaboration
• Well-developed generalist mindset with a broad spectrum of knowledge covering both civil and electrical engineering basic concepts
• PMP certification is an advantage
• Exemplify integrity, firm leadership, strong planning, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to quality
• Highly organised and adept at handling multiple concurrent projects
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in data-driven decision-making
• Excellent project management and organisational skills
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical approach to problem-solving
• Willing to travel/relocate if required
