What you'll do:

As an Oracle Database Administrator based in Penang, you’ll immerse yourself in a lively environment where each day brings fresh opportunities to make an impact. • Proven ability to administer Microsoft SQL Server environments with deep understanding of architecture principles as well as best practices for security and performance.
• Demonstrated skill in performance tuning using diagnostic tools such as Trace File Analyzer (TFA), AWR reports, ASH analytics or similar utilities to optimise system health.
• A history of successfully delivering complex database infrastructure projects involving upgrades, migrations or consolidations while adhering to governance frameworks.
• Talent for analysing customer requirements collaboratively with team experts to design tailored solutions that adapt to evolving business needs.
• Experience working with global stakeholders—including cross-functional teams—and managing vendor relationships for effective escalation handling or support coordination.
• Excellent communication abilities enabling smooth stakeholder engagement across both technical and non-technical audiences; fluency in English is required (additional languages are a plus).
