By developing robust procedures for new processes and providing hands-on technical support, you’ll play a pivotal role in boosting overall production yield while keeping costs in check. Plus, your dedication to upholding safety policies ensures everyone enjoys a secure workplace.

  • You will take charge of process control for assembly processes, ensuring every procedure is followed with precision to uphold exceptional quality standards.
  • Your hands-on expertise in soldering and welding equipment set-up will be vital as you monitor and fine-tune these systems for reliable performance.
  • You’ll troubleshoot and maintain vision inspection machines, robotics systems, and other engineering equipment to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Handling RMA (Return Material Authorisation) parts will require your careful attention to detail and resourceful problem-solving abilities.
  • You’ll champion process development and control for transfer projects by working closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee seamless transitions.
  • Providing technical support, guidance, and training to production staff will be central as you help ensure products are built perfectly every time.

  • Developing creative solutions for continual yield improvement while reducing waste will be part of your ongoing mission.
  • Working alongside the quality team and production team, you’ll respond quickly to customer complaints by delivering effective solutions that resolve concerns thoroughly.
  • Establishing system procedures and standard operating procedures for new processes will be your responsibility to ensure consistency across all operations.

What you bring:

To shine as a Process Engineer here, you’ll bring hands-on experience from similar roles in manufacturing—ideally with exposure to assembly processes involving advanced machinery. Your educational background gives you the foundation needed for technical problem-solving while your practical know-how means you can put those concepts into action on the shop floor. You’re comfortable using analytical tools to spot trends that lead to smarter process improvements. Your interpersonal skills make it easy for you to connect with colleagues at all levels—encouraging collaboration between engineering, quality assurance, and production teams. With your keen eye for detail, you catch potential issues early on while your methodical approach ensures every solution is implemented safely and efficiently. If you’ve worked with cable assemblies or connectors before or have been involved in equipment maintenance projects, these experiences will make your application stand out even more.

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field is required for this position.
  • You should have at least 1 year of relevant experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the cable assemblies or connectors industry would be highly advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with problem-solving tools and methodologies is essential for addressing technical challenges effectively.
  • Previous exposure to equipment maintenance tasks is considered beneficial for this role.
  • A solid understanding of process control principles and improvement activities is necessary for success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required to facilitate clear information sharing across teams.
