What you'll do:

As the APAC Security Manager, you will be entrusted with shaping the future of physical security across multiple sites in the region. • Develop and execute security strategies that are fully aligned with global corporate policies as well as local regulatory requirements throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
• Regularly review existing security plans and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure best-in-class protection for personnel, assets, and information.
• Work collaboratively with senior leaders to embed security considerations into all aspects of business continuity planning and operational processes.
• Provide expert functional and technical guidance on all matters related to physical security management for both internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Establish rigorous audit standards for security practices, conduct thorough periodic audits, and deliver actionable recommendations for ongoing enhancement.
• Maintain up-to-date security policies, procedures, and practices that support operational continuity while meeting or exceeding compliance obligations.
• Coordinate comprehensive risk management processes by proactively assessing potential threats, planning mitigation strategies, and managing crisis situations effectively.
• Lead incident response efforts during security breaches, workplace threats, or emergencies to minimise impact and restore normal operations swiftly.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments across all sites to ensure full compliance with international security standards and local laws.
• Mentor and lead a dedicated team of security professionals while fostering a culture of vigilance, resilience, and shared responsibility for safety.

What you bring:

To excel as an APAC Security Manager, you will bring extensive experience gained from managing complex physical security operations across multiple sites—preferably within the APAC region. Your academic background in law, engineering or related disciplines equips you with the analytical skills needed to navigate intricate regulatory landscapes. You have honed your ability to assess risks holistically while remaining sensitive to cultural nuances when collaborating with colleagues from different countries. • Hold a tertiary qualification in Law, Security Management, Engineering or another relevant field which underpins your understanding of complex regulatory environments.
• Bring over ten years’ experience in corporate physical security roles—ideally spanning multi-site operations within the Asia-Pacific region—to inform your strategic approach.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of modern security management principles alongside practical expertise in operational security practices.
• Showcase proven ability to identify emerging risks quickly and develop targeted solutions that support broader business objectives without compromising safety.
• Exhibit success in strategic planning by prioritising resources effectively and implementing robust structures that withstand evolving threats.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills which enable you to build trust-based relationships with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds across various regions.
• Display outstanding communication abilities—both written and verbal—that allow you to influence stakeholders at every level of the organisation.
