What you'll do:

As a SAP Finance Systems Developer, you will be at the heart of the organisation’s efforts to streamline product costing processes within SAP and associated finance systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with both IT professionals and business users to ensure that all aspects of finance application support run smoothly. You will be instrumental in collecting requirements, designing tailored solutions, configuring systems, writing detailed documentation, and supporting rigorous testing procedures. • Collaborate with other SAP Finance Analysts to support business users in their daily operations by providing expert guidance on SAP and related finance applications.
• Assist business analysts in gathering requirements, translating them into effective design proposals that align with organisational needs.
• Perform SAP configurations as required, ensuring all custom program developments are well-documented with detailed specifications.
• Support testing activities by helping business users validate automated solutions before deployment.
• Provide comprehensive post go-live support for SAP implementations and development activities within Impact ECS.
• Analyse incidents raised by users, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and deliver practical solutions to maintain system stability.
• Manage change requests by thoroughly understanding new business requirements and implementing appropriate system enhancements.
• Develop clear documentation for configuration changes, system enhancements, test scripts, end-user manuals, and training materials.
• Train key stakeholders and end users on new functionalities while explaining technical concepts in accessible language to non-technical audiences.

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Technology or a related field is essential for this position.
• Proven experience with VB Script and Javascript is required to develop customised automation within finance applications.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Powershell scripting using ISE is necessary for managing system tasks efficiently.
• Solid understanding of SFTP protocols along with hands-on experience using Putty and WinScp tools is important for secure data transfers.
• Comprehensive knowledge of SQL Server operations including SQL and some T-SQL programming is vital for database management tasks.
• Ability to quickly grasp accounting concepts enhances your effectiveness when working alongside finance professionals (nice to have).
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes provides valuable context for supporting industry-specific requirements (nice to have).
• Experience supporting or implementing SAP CO modules adds depth to your skill set (nice to have).
