What you'll do:

As a Senior SAP Controlling Consultant based in Penang, you will play a pivotal role in supporting post-implementation activities for SAP CO modules. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with stakeholders across finance, accounting, and IT departments to ensure smooth incident resolution and effective change management. You will be instrumental in developing comprehensive documentation that empowers users at all levels while facilitating ongoing training sessions. By applying your expertise in product costing and leveraging advanced SQL server skills, you will contribute significantly to process optimisation efforts. • Provide expert post go-live support for SAP Controlling (CO) modules by analysing user-raised incidents and delivering effective solutions tailored to business needs.
• Execute SAP implementation and development activities within the Controlling area, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
• Manage change requests by thoroughly understanding new business requirements and translating them into actionable system enhancements.
• Develop detailed documentation including configuration guides, enhancement records, test scripts, end-user manuals, and training materials to facilitate knowledge sharing across teams.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and deliver solutions that streamline processes for greater efficiency and simplicity.
• Train both key users and end users on SAP CO functionalities, ensuring technical concepts are communicated clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Support product costing activities by leveraging deep expertise in SAP CO and related financial processes to optimise cost management strategies.
• Utilise SQL server knowledge to enhance data handling capabilities within SAP environments, supporting robust reporting and analytics functions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimisation within the controlling domain.

• Minimum of five years’ experience working with SAP FICO modules in either support or implementation capacities ensures you bring proven expertise to the team.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities combined with strong analytical skills enable you to address complex issues efficiently while considering stakeholder perspectives.
• Ability to handle SAP business change requests independently reflects your dependability and commitment to collaborative outcomes.
• Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously allows you to deliver results swiftly without compromising quality or attention to detail.
• Proven track record in product costing within SAP CO demonstrates your specialised knowledge essential for optimising financial processes.
• Functional experience with SAP CO is mandatory so you can confidently navigate module-specific challenges.
• Solid understanding of SQL server workings along with proficiency in SQL supports robust data management within SAP environments.
• Nice-to-have skills include experience with VB Script and Javascript which can enhance automation capabilities within system workflows.
• Additional desirable skills encompass Powershell scripting using ISE as well as familiarity with SFTP tools such as Putty and WinScp for secure data transfers.
