What you'll do:

As a Production Manager based in Selangor, you will be entrusted with overseeing end-to-end food manufacturing processes in a modern facility. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve orchestrating all aspects of production—from raw material handling through final packaging—while ensuring that every product aligns with stringent quality benchmarks. You will nurture a dependable team by providing ongoing coaching and training sessions designed to enhance skills and maintain discipline. By collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Sales and Planning, you will ensure that production targets are met efficiently. Your analytical approach will help identify opportunities for process automation or enhancement while supporting new product trials or launches.   • Plan, organise, and supervise all bread production activities to ensure seamless operations from food preparation through to packaging.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) at every step of production to maintain efficiency and compliance.
  • Conduct routine quality inspections on finished goods and address any deviations immediately to uphold company standards for taste, texture, size, and appearance.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HALAL, HACCP, GMP, FSSC, and other regulatory requirements by maintaining rigorous documentation and conducting regular audits.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation throughout all production areas to meet food safety expectations.
  • Lead, train, supervise, and evaluate production staff while preparing schedules and managing manpower planning effectively.
  • Control labour costs by monitoring overtime approvals and optimising workforce utilisation without compromising output or quality.
  • Coordinate closely with Sales and Planning teams on daily or weekly production requirements to align resources with demand.
  • Prepare detailed reports on production output, wastage rates, downtime incidents, and labour utilisation while analysing data for continuous improvement.
