What you'll do:

As a Pre-sales Engineer based in Penang, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between customer requirements and technical solutions. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with sales teams to understand client needs, crafting compelling technical proposals, demonstrating products with clarity, and responding thoughtfully to technical queries. You will be instrumental in gathering customer feedback for continuous product improvement while deepening solution offerings through close cooperation with technical engineers. By conducting training sessions for both internal staff and external partners, you will ensure everyone is empowered with essential product knowledge.   • Provide comprehensive pre-sales support for products and problem-solving solutions by assisting sales teams in researching and analysing customer requirements.
  • Formulate detailed technical proposals and tender documents that address client needs while clearly expounding on technical solutions.
  • Demonstrate products effectively to prospective clients and respond thoroughly to all technical inquiries during the pre-sales process.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to promote and sell products as well as customised problem-solving solutions tailored to each client’s unique challenges.

What you bring:

To excel as a Pre-sales Engineer in Penang, your background should include substantial experience within logistics automation or related fields such as e-commerce or ERP-WMS systems. Your academic foundation—ideally at bachelor level or higher—will be complemented by hands-on expertise in solution design and project bidding.
