What you'll do:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer based in Penang, you will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative solutions across multiple projects. • Create, update, and maintain detailed 3D design models and precise 2D technical drawings using SolidWorks software, ensuring all outputs meet project requirements.

• Implement design changes and improvements under the guidance of senior engineers, actively seeking feedback to enhance the quality of deliverables.
• Prepare comprehensive design documentation including bills of materials (BOMs), drawings, and detailed design reports for each assigned project.
• Collaborate closely with cross-site teams on various design tasks, maintaining open communication channels to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Ensure strict compliance with internal engineering standards as well as recognised industry best practices throughout all stages of the design process.
• Participate actively in regular design reviews, team meetings, and project discussions, offering constructive input and supporting collective decision-making.
