Our client is in search of a highly skilled Manufacturing Manager to lead their production operations.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced electronics environment, leading process and product engineering teams, and driving continuous improvement across all stages of manufacturing. The ideal candidate will bring a strong engineering background, hands-on leadership, and a passion for delivering quality and efficiency at scale.

What you'll do:

As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be at the forefront of our client's production operations. Your role will involve overseeing various processes such as SMT (Surface Mount Technology), through-hole assembly, testing, and final assembly. You will be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators and implementing necessary corrective actions. Your leadership skills will be crucial in supervising process and manufacturing engineers to optimize production methods. Additionally, you will work closely with other departments like Quality Assurance and Supply Chain to align production goals with overall business objectives. This role requires someone who can foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability.

  • Lead and manage daily operations on the production floor to ensure on-time delivery, high quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee SMT (Surface Mount Technology), through-hole assembly, testing, and final assembly processes.
  • Monitor production KPIs (yield, cycle time, efficiency, scrap) and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure strict compliance with ESD protocols and internal quality requirements.
  • Supervise process and manufacturing engineers to optimize production methods.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions for quality or technical issues.
  • Oversee tooling, fixtures, jigs, and equipment upgrades to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance and Supply Chain to align production goals with overall business objectives.
  • Manage capital equipment planning, layout changes, and capacity expansion projects.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability across all departments.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Manufacturing Manager position brings a wealth of experience in electronics manufacturing along with proven leadership abilities. You should have a deep understanding of electronics assembly, test methods, and ESD-safe manufacturing practices. Your familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Kaizen methodologies will be beneficial in this role. Strong project management skills are essential, along with excellent communication and team-building abilities. This role requires a candidate who can effectively lead engineering and production teams in a high-mix, low-to-medium volume environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • 10 years of experience in electronics manufacturing
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Deep understanding of electronics assembly, test methods, and ESD-safe manufacturing practices
  • Proven experience leading engineering and production teams in a high-mix, low-to-medium volume environment
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Kaizen methodologies
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective team-building skills
