Operation Manager

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operation Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to improve production efficiency, ensure the quality of products, and reduce manufacturing costs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting productivity goals, managing all activities in Production and Order Planning, and ensuring effective communication with Quality Assurance. What you'll do:

As an Operation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in improving the production efficiency of our client's operations. Your primary responsibility will be to set efficiency and productivity goals for the plant, manage all activities in Production and Order Planning, assign duties to respective HODs, carry out continuous improvement activities, communicate effectively with QA, plan and manage plant activities, oversee production staff, provide leadership for all production activities, prepare detailed reports on production status. Your ability to lead teams towards achieving these goals will be crucial for success in this role.

• Improve the production efficiency and quality of products while reducing manufacturing costs
• Set efficiency and productivity goals for the plant and implement systems towards achieving them
• Manage and monitor all activities in the Production and Order Planning
• Assign duties and responsibilities to respective HODs ensuring task effectiveness
• Carry out continuous improvement activities
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with QA to solve any internal or external quality issues
• Plan, review, control, and manage plant activities and resources to ensure timely service delivery within agreed scope, time, and budget
• Oversee production staff to ensure procedural adherence and deadline compliance
• Provide leadership to ensure all production activities are completed on schedule and within budget constraints
• Prepare reports on production status including details about materials used and costs incurred in production

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Operation Manager position brings a wealth of experience from the manufacturing sector. You have at least a Diploma/Degree in a related field along with a minimum of 4 years of experience preferably in the Furniture industry. Your excellent communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with various teams while your strong coordination skills allow you to delegate tasks efficiently. You possess a strong sense of responsibility and independence which makes you capable of working under minimal supervision. Your willingness to work in Sungai Buloh is a testament to your commitment and dedication.

• Possession of at least a Diploma/Degree in a related field
• Minimum 4 years of Manufacturing experience preferably in the Furniture industry

• Willingness to work in Sungai Buloh
