Operations Manager

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Bukit Minyak.

What you'll do:

As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the overall operations of our client's manufacturing environment. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring customer satisfaction by effectively managing operational matters on a daily basis. You will oversee the allocation of production personnel, material, and equipment resources to meet production schedules and costs. Your proactive approach will be crucial in implementing programs that enhance productivity, capacity, and technological capabilities. You will also be responsible for making budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures, manpower requirements, and scrap budgets. Your leadership skills will be put to good use as you lead, motivate, and promote a team working spirit and discipline to achieve company business objectives.

* Manage day-to-day operational matters

* Oversee allocation of production personnel, material, and equipment resources

* Implement programs to enhance productivity, capacity, and technological capabilities

* Make budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures, manpower requirements, and scrap budget

* Work with relevant groups to effect demand ramp up and continuously look for opportunities to improve productivity, yield, costs

* Lead, motivate and promote team working spirit and discipline

* Support operation technical challenges

* Handle other tasks and duties as requested by superior

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Operations Manager position brings a wealth of skills and experience to the table. You hold a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Your strong management skills are complemented by your excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. You have proven leadership abilities with experience managing a team of production personnel. Experience in manufacturing would be advantageous but not essential. A technical background is preferred but not mandatory. You are able to work under minimal supervision and bring a creative and proactive approach to your work.

* Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

* Strong management skills
