What you'll do:

As a Data Systems Specialist, your role will be pivotal in shaping the company's robust Data Platform in the cloud using Microsoft Azure. You will contribute to automating workflows, enhancing efficiency, and driving productivity. Your work will have a direct impact on decision-making, strategy, and the company’s continued success.

* Managing and maintaining the data warehouse to ensure data integrity and availability.

* Implementing data warehousing concepts and architecture.

* Integrating data from various sources, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency across systems.

* Building and maintaining dynamic and complex ETL processes.

* Designing and creating data models that facilitate efficient querying and reporting.

* Ensuring data systems perform efficiently.

* Implementing data governance policies and ensuring data security.

* Ability to understand or create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business users.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Data Systems Specialist role will bring a wealth of experience in data warehousing, data engineering, or business intelligence development. You will have proven skills in SQL, data integration, implementing data quality checks and data modelling. Your proficiency in MS SSIS, Azure Data Factory, SQL, MS SQL Database, Azure DevOps, and Data Integration Tools will be essential to your success in this role.

* Minimum of 3 years solid in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence Development.

* At least 3 year(s) of experience with SQL, Data Integration, Implementing Data Quality Checks and Data Modelling.

* Proficiency in MS SSIS, Azure Data Factory, SQL, MS SQL Database, Azure DevOps, and Data Integration Tools.

* Experience with Power BI, ServiceNow, Qlik, Tableau, C++, C#, Python or R.

* Solid understanding of Ralph Kimball methodologies.

* Experience with ETL development, Data Integration, and Data Warehousing.

* Ability to analyse complex large data sets, data models, data mining and segmentation techniques for a global organization.
