What you'll do:
As a Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in planning assembly processes, collaborating with teams for cost minimisation, defining equipment specifications, evaluating performance, identifying process specifications, conducting problem-solving methodologies, providing effective countermeasures for technical flaws, and continuously improving technical capacity. Your expertise will be crucial in driving operational excellence within the organisation.
* Planning of assembly processes flow considering manufacturing efficiency.
* Collaborate with project team to minimize product cost through design and process optimization.
* Define equipment specification in accordance to product specification.
* Evaluate equipment and process performance at each project stage.
* Identify and establish process specifications, maintenance strategies and other manufacturing documents required for line release activity.
* Conduct problem solving methodology in assembly processes and equipment.
* Provide effective countermeasure in technical flaw encompassed with corrective and preventive action plan.
* Study, evaluate and improve the technical capacity and capability in assembly processes according to customer’s demand.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Process Engineer position brings a wealth of experience in mechanical, electronic or mechatronic engineering. With at least five years' experience in a related field, including three years' practical experience in assembly process planning and control plan creation. You possess strong knowledge of PFMEAs, Control Plan, Production Systems, and box-build assembly processes. Your excellent communication skills enable you to interact effectively with all levels of employees. Your decision-making strength coupled with your problem-solving skills makes you results-oriented.
* Bachelor of Degree in Mechanical/ Electronic/ Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years working experience in related field.
* At least 3 years of practical experience in assembly process in terms of Line setup, Process Planning, PFMEA and Control Plan creation.
* Adequate knowledge in PFMEAs, Control Plan, Production Systems, and box-build assembly processes.
* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written with all levels of employees.
* Good decision-making strength, problems solving skills and result oriented approach.
