Our client is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to join their team in Kedah. What you'll do:
As a Senior Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing all plant activities, ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing processes. Your excellent problem-solving abilities will be crucial in optimizing operations to achieve cost efficiency, uphold quality standards, and ensure timely product delivery. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry standards. - Provide strategic leadership and direction to the operations team
- Manage all production/operation activities, ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing processes
- Optimize operations to achieve cost efficiency and uphold quality standards
- Ensure timely product delivery
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry standards
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the plant
- Assist in overseeing daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring production schedules are met and products are delivered on time
- Monitor operation metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the metal fabrication or semiconductor equipment manufacturing industry
- Proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards
