Our client is on the hunt for a seasoned Facilities Maintenance Manager to join their dynamic team in Penang.

What you'll do:
As a Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the organisation, staffing, and follow-up for all Facilities Related Equipment and operation activities. You will be responsible for establishing and continuously improving the Preventive Maintenance Program, setting KPI's for PM performance, developing reports for KPI's, and reviewing them with local teams for continuous improvements. Your role will also involve managing annual Capital Expenditure Activities for the Facilities, including developing Project Lists and prioritising them with local leadership.
* Ensure the maintenance of facilities to provide a safe, clean, comfortable environment for the associates.
* Supervise internal associates and contractors in all aspects of Facilities Maintenance.
* Establish and continuously improve the Preventive Maintenance Program.
* Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting and repairs for Facilities equipment issues.
* Review and cost management of all Facilities Maintenance Contracts.
* Manage annual Capital Expenditure Activities for the Facilities.
* Engage regularly with vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff for contract requirement & the daily operational activities.
* Ensure all Facilities Maintenance personnel have appropriate training to safely perform required duties.
* Adhere to all Quality Principles and actions.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Facilities Maintenance Manager role will bring 3-5 years' experience in Maintenance and Facility Management or equivalent. You should have proven experience in Facilities maintenance and operation as well as HAZMAT Disposal. A background in Scheduled Waste Management system / ISO14001 is essential. As a proactive individual who can operate with minimal supervision, you should have a solid understanding of planning maintenance activities. Auto Cad capabilities are also required.
* 3-5 years’ experience in Maintenance and Facility Management or equivalent
* Experience in Facilities maintenance and operation
* Experience in HAZMAT Disposal is required.
