What you'll do:
As the Head of IT, you will play an integral role in leading the corporate IT department. Your primary responsibility will be supervising all technology operations while ensuring alignment with business goals. You will be pivotal in fostering innovation within the company by managing IT resources effectively. Your role will also involve safeguarding the efficiency and security of our technology infrastructure. This includes managing SAP operations, infrastructure management, end-user support, network services, security measures, and staff augmentation efforts across multiple locations.
* Formulate and execute IT strategies that align with the organisation’s objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
* Work hand-in-hand with executive leadership to drive digital transformation initiatives.
* Serve as a key advisor on strategic IT planning and industry trends.
* Guide, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Manage/oversee the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
* Manage/oversee IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
* Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
* Ensure and direct cybersecurity measures of IT systems and data, implementing best practices and compliance with regulations.
* Collaborate closely with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions.
* Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
