Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Lead of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, specialising in Generative AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

The successful candidate will be tasked with designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI solutions, working closely with various teams to integrate Artificial Intelligence features that align with the product roadmap.

What you'll do:
As the Lead of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our product. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI solutions that align with our product roadmap. You will collaborate closely with various teams including Product, Frontend engineers, Backend engineers, and QA engineers. Your expertise in Generative AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) will be vital in creating innovative solutions that meet business requirements. You will also act as a mentor, supporting your peers and junior team members in enhancing their AI/ML expertise.
* Design, optimise and deploy LLM and Generative AI systems that meet business requirements
* Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of different NLP approaches and Generative AI platforms through comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis
* Continuously monitor model performance and adjust models as necessary to enhance accuracy and robustness
* Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in Generative AI technologies
* Develop AI/ML solution design documents based on problem definition outlined in Jira tickets
* Create clear documentation for models, experiments and processes to ensure knowledge sharing
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Lead of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning position should have a strong academic background in Data Science or Computer Science. With over 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data science roles focusing on Generative AI models, you should be proficient in Python programming, deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, and NLP libraries such as Hugging Face or spaCy. Your practical experience with LLM/GenAI including RAG, Vector DB, Embedding, Fine Tuning and Prompt Tuning will be highly valued. Familiarity with DevSecOps platforms like GitLab and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is also desirable.
* Bachelor/ Master/ PhD in Data Science/Computer Science or related field
* 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data science or related roles with a focus on Generative AI models
* Practical experience with LLM/GenAI including RAG, Vector DB, Embedding, Fine Tuning and Prompt Tuning
* Proficiency in Python programming, deep learning framework (eg TensorFlow, PyTorch) and NLP libraries (eg Hugging Face, spaCy)
* Familiarity with DevSecOps platforms such as GitLab and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
* Experience in test automation tool is a plus
