Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Penang.
This role offers the opportunity to be the primary manufacturing interface for new and existing hardware products, ensuring that they are designed and built to high standards of quality and performance. You will have the chance to work in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary group, using your creativity and wide range of engineering experience to develop and evaluate solutions to challenging engineering problems.

What you'll do:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting new product development builds and ongoing improvements to existing products. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include creating CAD models, preparing ECOs for parts, BOMs, routings, and product documentation. You will also be responsible for developing manufacturing processes, documentation, tooling, and test fixtures. Collaborating with Design Engineers to determine manufacturing and product specifications will be an integral part of your role.
* Create CAD models and drawings in Solidworks and SolidEdge per requirements
* Revise CAD models and drawings in Solidworks and SolidEdge per requirements
* Prepare ECOs for parts, BOMs, routings, and product documentation
* Prepare, release, and revise company procedures per process requirements
* Develop Manufacturing Processes, Documentation, Tooling, and Test Fixtures
* Collaborate with Design Engineers to determine manufacturing and product specifications
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Manufacturing Engineer position brings advanced skills in creating and editing part, assembly, and drawing files in Solidworks or SolidEdge. They have extensive knowledge of product BOM structures along with a track record of writing ECOs. A strong understanding of complex electromechanical assemblies is essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
* Advanced skills in creating and editing part, assembly, and drawing files in Solidworks or SolidEdge
* Experience in creation and interpretation of GD&T
* Extensive knowledge of product BOM structures, their creation, and management
* Track record of writing ECOs (Engineering Change Orders)
* Strong understanding of complex electromechanical assemblies
* Effective time management skills to meet deadlines
