Our client is in search of a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to join their expanding team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing company with a new production line, specialising in a wide range of food and beverage manufacturing production. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the smooth operation of production departments and maintaining high standards of manufacturing best practice.
What you'll do:
As a Production Manager, your primary role will be to oversee the operations of the production departments, ensuring that they have adequate time for manufacturing and delivery. You will be responsible for manpower planning, monitoring production progress, managing customer orders, and ensuring that all activities comply with ISO, HACCP, HALAL standards as well as good manufacturing practices. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in rectifying any non-conformances or rejected products. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records in line with company procedures.
- Ensure production departments have sufficient time to manufacture and deliver on time.
- Plan manpower effectively.
- Monitor and review production progress regularly.
- Manage customer orders efficiently.
- Monitor production activity to ensure appropriate manufacturing methods are employed.
- Ensure rejected product or non-conformance is rectified promptly.
- Comply with ISO, HACCP, HALAL and good manufacturing best practice and performance standards.
- Maintain appropriate records in accordance with company procedures.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Production Manager role will bring a wealth of experience from the manufacturing sector. With at least 5 years' experience under your belt, you'll have developed strong leadership skills that enable you to effectively manage a team of operators. Your background in Chemistry, Food Science or Food Technology will be complemented by your knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO22000, ISO9001, HACCP, Halal & 5’S Housekeeping. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be key in coaching your team towards achieving production targets.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Chemistry / Food Science / Food Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of FSSC 22000,ISO22000,ISO9001,HACCP,Halal&5’S Housekeeping has an advantage.
- Possess strong leadership, interpersonal, coaching & communication skills to supervise a group of operators to achieve production’s target.
