Our client is seeking a Wafer Probe Integration Engineer to join their dynamic team in Taiwan manufacturing plant. You will have responsibilities for deploying and supporting Wafer Probe Equipment and Processes used in global manufacturing locations. The role involves working on new technology and standardising deployed Wafer Probe Operations processes.
What you'll do:
As a Wafer Probe Integration Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will involve deploying first-of-a-kind equipment, collaborating with global teams, engaging with suppliers, establishing manufacturing metrics, developing new methods, and generating equipment specifications. Your creativity and innovation will be key in tackling sophisticated problems and advancing the company's probe roadmap.
- Deploy first-of-a-kind equipment and process capabilities through evaluations of Wafer Probers, Testers & Probe Cards
- Collaborate with global teams to establish and implement best-known methods for wafer probe
- Engage equipment suppliers & vendors to address issues of quality and performance
- Establish manufacturing metrics to drive continuous improvement of equipment performance and processes
- Develop and deploy new methods or processes as vital to resolve manufacturing issues
- Generate equipment specifications to meet safety and capability requirements of global manufacturing environments
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Wafer Probe Integration Engineer position will bring a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering fundamentals. They will be proficient in statistics, data analysis, design of experiments, and have basic knowledge of 3D CAD software. Their ability to think independently, prioritise tasks effectively, and work towards a given timeline will be crucial for success in this role.
