What you'll do:
As a Factory Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee all manufacturing operations. You will supervise machinery and equipment downtime, monitor production data, conduct regular inspections, and foster collaboration among various management functions. Your role will be pivotal in driving productivity, optimizing resources, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards. - Oversee and manage all manufacturing operations ensuring adherence to production timelines and quality standards.
- Supervise and optimize machinery and equipment downtime to minimize disruptions in production schedules.
- Monitor and analyze downtime occurrences to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Foster collaboration among various management functions including Sales, Engineering, Quality, HR, and Planning.
- Monitor production and inventory data to identify productivity trends.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Factory Manager position will bring a wealth of experience in manufacturing operations. You should have a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline, coupled with at least 5-10 years of progressively broadening experience in the field. Your background in High Mix Low Volume Manufacturing will be highly advantageous. You should possess strong management skills, an analytical mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Your proficiency in tooling knowledge, maintenance experience, and ability to solve complex manufacturing problems will set you apart.
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or related disciplines.
