Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee their operations in Klang. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a diverse team across production, engineering, maintenance, supply chain management, quality assurance, safety and health.

What you'll do:
As a Plant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that operations are carried out effectively and efficiently. You will work closely with various departments to deliver quality solutions in response to development needs, hardware/engineering requirements, production challenges, and daily operational demands. Your ability to plan, identify risks and opportunities, evaluate risk controls, and communicate these risks effectively will be crucial in this role. You will also be expected to attend to plant problems promptly, diagnosing any malfunctions of plant equipment and machines alongside your production and engineering teams. A key part of your role will involve enforcing and implementing all ISO Systems and 5S Management protocols.
- Oversee daily plant and production floor resources planning and execution
- Deliver quality Production, Engineering, Maintenance and Supply Chain solutions
- Work closely with departments for process improvement and product quality assurance
- Plan and identify risk and opportunity, evaluate the risks control, communicate the risks to all subordinates and interested parties
- Attend to plant problems and diagnose any malfunctions of the plant equipment and machines with production and engineering team
- Enforce and implement all ISO Systems and 5S Management, as well as any improvement program set up by management

With a degree/diploma in Civil/Manufacturing System Engineering/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering under your belt, you have developed strong leadership skills that enable you to manage diverse teams effectively. Your experience in manufacturing processes, planning, machinery, plant maintenance or engineering aptitude sets you apart from others. You possess excellent problem-solving skills which allow you to diagnose malfunctions of plant equipment and machines swiftly. Furthermore, your knowledge of ISO Systems and 5S Management protocols ensures that you can enforce and implement these effectively.
- Degree/Diploma in Civil/Manufacturing System Engineering/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- 10 - 15 years of industrial working experience in manufacturing management capacity
- Experience in manufacturing processes, planning, machinery, plant maintenance or engineering aptitude
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose malfunctions of plant equipment and machines
- Knowledge of ISO Systems and 5S Management protocols
