What you'll do:
As a Workshop Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a dedicated team towards achieving key performance indicators. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include structuring work schedules, guiding team members, managing stocks, planning equipment preparation, promoting safety standards, monitoring facility conditions, addressing technical escalations, and preparing monthly reports. Your leadership skills combined with your technical expertise will be instrumental in driving efficiency through standardised processes.
- Lead and develop the workshop & warehouse team to achieve KPIs
- Structure and plan work schedule of the Technicians and Warehouse team
- Provide guidance to team members in terms of quality standards and meeting performance targets
- Increase efficiency through standardised processes
- Manage workshop stocks and achieve equipment readiness
- Plan and oversee equipment preparation for delivery and collection
- Promote a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring cleanliness and high standards are sustained
- Monitor the condition of workshop facilities, tools and Equipment, ensuring regular servicing of all equipment in the warehouse
- Proactively address technical escalations within the workshops
- Prepare monthly reports on the workshop activities and performance
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Workshop Manager role brings a wealth of experience from similar industries such as heavy equipment production/workshop or automotive production/workshop. With at least 3 years of experience in a managerial position under your belt, you have honed strong leadership skills that enable you to guide teams towards achieving performance targets. Your proficiency in ERP SAP system along with Power Point, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word equips you with the necessary tools to excel in this role. Your excellent problem-solving skills allow you to proactively address technical escalations while your strong organisational skills enable you to structure work schedules effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managerial position
- Experience in heavy equipment production/workshop or automotive production/workshop
- Proficiency in ERP SAP system, Power Point, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
- Strong leadership skills with ability to guide teams towards achieving performance targets
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to proactively address technical escalations
- Strong organisational skills with ability to structure work schedules effectively
