What you’ll do

As a Plant Manager, you will be the cornerstone of the facility’s manufacturing operations, providing strategic leadership to ensure efficiency, compliance, and high-quality output. Your expertise will guide the site’s vision and operational strategy, making a significant impact on the company’s success in the biomass industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Formulating and guiding the vision and operational strategy for the site.
  • Developing the facility’s Site Plan while collaborating with supply chain teams on logistics costs, feedstock availability, and fuel inventory management.
  • Ensuring all production facilities operate safely and comply with regulatory and internal safety standards.
  • Driving reliability-centered manufacturing operations to deliver consistent, high-quality products.
  • Managing capital and operating budgets for the entire site effectively.
  • Leading strategic capital investment projects to enhance operational capabilities.
  • Implementing operational efficiency programs to foster a culture of safety, soundness, and efficiency across the plant.

What you’ll bring

To excel in this role, you’ll need strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for driving sustainable energy solutions. Your ability to manage complex operations while maintaining high standards of safety and quality will be key to your success as a Plant Manager in Kluang, Johor within the biomass industry.

Key qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven knowledge of operational excellence with experience setting objectives for manufacturing processes.
  • At least eight years of relevant work experience, including five years in supervisory roles.
  • Hands-on experience working with boiler systems and crushing equipment, preferably from palm oil mills.
