Sustainability Manager

Our client is seeking a Sustainability Manager to lead their ESG strategy and initiatives across their Motors Division. This role offers the opportunity to engage with senior stakeholders, develop risk evaluation methodologies, and communicate key achievements in sustainability.

What you'll do:

As a Sustainability Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and implementing our client's ESG Strategy across their Motors Division. You will be responsible for engaging with senior stakeholders, tracking implementation, and reporting on key metrics. Your ability to develop risk evaluation methodologies will be crucial in assessing the impact of strategy implementation. Furthermore, your communication skills will be essential in sharing key achievements and milestones of the ESG Strategy. You will also support the Motors Strategy & Business Performance function in contributing to social corporate responsibilities.

• Coordinate the implementation of the ESG Strategy across all countries of operation
• Engage senior stakeholders to track the implementation and reporting of key metrics
• Develop risk evaluation methodologies to assess the impact of the Strategy implementation
• Communicate key achievements and milestones of the ESG Strategy across the Motors Division
• Support the Motors Strategy & Business Performance function to contribute to the ESG Strategy
• Coordinate governance & reporting of key metrics to inform strategy progress

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sustainability Manager role brings a wealth of experience in sustainability and a strong educational background in HSE, Business, Law or Human Resources. With over 8 years of relevant work experience, you are knowledgeable about investments in renewable energy and cleaner technologies. Your understanding of responsible supply chains and modern slavery is crucial for this role. Your ability to simplify technical issues into everyday language will be highly valued. Lastly, your project management expertise will enable you to deliver results at a strategic level.

• Bachelor’s degree in HSE, Sustainability, Business, Law or Human Resources or related field
• 8+ years relevant work experience in Sustainability
• Experience with investment in renewable energy and cleaner more efficient technologies
• Knowledge on responsible supply chains & modern slavery
• Experience with Corporate Social Responsibility activities across all countries of operation
• Ability to simplify technical issues into everyday language
• Project management expertise with ability to deliver results at strategic level
