What you’ll do
As a Structural Senior Engineer, you will immerse yourself in the intricate design and analysis of offshore topside structures, focusing primarily on FPSO modules. Your role will involve a comprehensive review and commentary on a range of structural deliverables, ensuring alignment with industry standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with PMC and EPC teams to create overall structural layouts and designs.
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams to finalize construction drawings.
- Designing, analyzing, and documenting offshore topside structures, particularly floater structures like FPSOs, in accordance with ISO, API, and AISC codes.
- Understanding floater design dynamics including motion, hull deflection, and fatigue analysis.
- Utilizing FEA software and tools like SACS for detailed structural design.
- Monitoring weight control reports and collaborating with the EPC team on weight management.
- Applying architectural insights, especially for E-house and Workshop modules.
What you’ll bring
