A leading manufacturing organisation in Selangor is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their dedicated production department.

What you'll do:

As a Production Supervisor (Manufacturing), you will be entrusted with overseeing day-to-day operations across both production lines and logistics functions.

• Develop and implement strategic goals and actionable plans for both production and logistics departments to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
• Create, adjust, and schedule daily production operations so that all tasks are completed efficiently and on time while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Supervise all aspects of production operations including equipment usage, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Regularly analyse production efficiency as well as material consumption data; formulate targeted improvement plans aimed at reducing manufacturing costs without compromising quality.
• Continuously adjust and enhance production systems along with in-plant logistics processes to improve material management and control methods.
• Authorise the development and updating of procedure documents as well as control/reporting forms relevant to your role for improved transparency and accountability.
• Ensure product quality, output levels, yield rates, cost controls, production cycles, environmental protection measures, and equipment/tool conditions consistently meet or exceed expected standards.
• Coordinate effectively with property management teams and other departments to resolve any issues promptly for uninterrupted operations.
• Implement internal quality system tasks such as 5S methodology, RoHS compliance, EHS standards, and provide basic training plus safety supervision for team members.
• Oversee logistics and warehouse systems including receiving, dispatching, storage management, daily oversight of inventory checks, handling quality/safety issues, FIFO implementation, and customer complaint resolution.

What you bring:

To excel as a Production Supervisor (Manufacturing), your background should include substantial experience within foreign-invested enterprises where you have honed your expertise in managing complex production environments.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management or related fields is required for this position.
• More than five years’ experience working within foreign-invested enterprises is essential; at least three years must be spent in a production management capacity.
• Demonstrated familiarity with modern production management theories as well as practical tools/methods such as ISO9000 standards is highly desirable.
• Comprehensive understanding of product flows alongside detailed knowledge of various production process flows is necessary for success in this role.
• Exceptional ability to work dependably within teams while bringing excellent problem-solving skills that benefit both colleagues and overall operations.
• Effective communication skills coupled with strong organisational abilities enable you to collaborate across departments seamlessly.
• Proficiency in ERP systems related specifically to production workflows plus material management is required for efficient task execution.
• Advanced computer literacy ensures you can manage digital documentation accurately while leveraging technology for process improvements.
• Fluency in English—across listening, writing, speaking—is vital for clear communication within multicultural teams.
