Maintenance Manager

Our client is in search of a Maintenance Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure the smooth running of all maintenance operations, from preventive schedules to breakdown responses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the factory workshop efficiently, maintaining spare parts inventory, and providing technical support for product-related issues. This role is perfect for someone with a strong engineering background and a passion for quality assurance.

What you'll do:

As a Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all aspects of maintenance operations run smoothly. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you promptly attend to breakdowns and conduct thorough investigations into each one. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your managerial skills as you efficiently run the factory workshop, balancing both machine and manpower utilization. Your keen eye for detail will be essential in maintaining control over tools and die drawing modifications, while your innovative thinking will drive improvements in both quality and productivity. Furthermore, your ability to work collaboratively with various departments will be key as you conduct trial runs on new products, raw materials, machines, etc., providing valuable technical support along the way.

• Ensure all preventive maintenance schedules are carried out as expected
• Promptly attend to all breakdowns and conduct investigations for further action
• Manage the factory workshop efficiently in terms of machine and manpower utilization
• Maintain minimum level of maintenance spare parts and revise periodically
• Control all tools and die drawing modifications
• Carry out modifications and changes to existing machines and processes to improve quality and productivity
• Conduct trial runs with production and QA department on new products, raw materials, machines, etc.
• Provide technical support in handling product related and quality issues from suppliers to manufacturing
• Perform any other related job function as required by the management

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Maintenance Manager position brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in engineering. With at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, you understand the intricacies of managing maintenance operations. Your educational background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering equips you with the technical know-how necessary for this role.
