Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager (Mechanical) to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the upkeep, repair, and operational efficiency of all sterilization equipment and facility infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for minimizing downtime, process interruptions, non-conformance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. What you'll do:

As a Facilities Manager (Mechanical), you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our client's sterilization equipment and facility infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include developing preventive maintenance programs, identifying opportunities for process improvement, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, leading a team, managing budgets, training staff, managing risks, and more. Your expertise in mechanical engineering will be instrumental in ensuring minimal downtime and process interruptions.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability & compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, optimization and implement best practices.
  • Ensure that sterilization processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, develop a team, providing guidance, training and support.
  • Respond to equipment failures, malfunctions or emergencies, conducting root cause analyses and corrective action.
  • Ensure alignment of sterilization processes with business objectives and customer requirement.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with equipment suppliers, service providers and contractors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage the sterilization engineering budget.
  • Provide training to sterilization engineering staff.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with sterilization processes, equipment and facilities implementing risk management.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Facilities Manager (Mechanical) position brings a wealth of experience in mechanical engineering. With at least 15 years of experience under your belt, you have honed your technical skills in mechanical and electrical systems. You are adept at developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs, identifying opportunities for process improvement, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, leading a team, managing budgets, training staff, managing risks, and more. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the operational efficiency of our client's sterilization equipment and facility infrastructure.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong technical skill in mechanical, electrical along with expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Minimum 15 years experiences in similar roles.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Experience in identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Ability to ensure that sterilization processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in developing a team.
  • Experience in responding to equipment failures, malfunctions or emergencies.
  • Proven ability to establish relationships with suppliers, service providers and contractors.
  • Experience in developing budgets.
