New Installation Manager

Our client is seeking a New Installation Manager (Elevator) to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level, leading a team of professionals towards achieving established goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the New Installation Business, Testing Commissioning Department, and Installation Safety and Quality.

What you'll do:

As a New Installation Manager, your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our client's installation activities. • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level to develop and implement installation strategies.
• Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop the Installation team(s) to achieve budget, safety, quality and customer satisfaction goals.
• Identify training needs for project managers, project engineers and supervisors.
• Ensure conduct and actions of all installation staff, operatives and sub-contractors align with company standards.
• Drive a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.
• Oversee the New Installation Business, Testing Commissioning Department, and Installation Safety and Quality.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the New Installation Manager position brings a wealth of experience from similar industries or construction fields. With a minimum of 10-15 years' experience under your belt, you understand the intricacies of the elevator & escalator industry. Your educational background in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering complements your practical experience. You have an excellent command over both English and Bahasa Malaysia which aids in effective communication across all levels within the organisation. Your understanding of business strategy coupled with your knowledge of elevator operation and service management makes you an asset to our client.

• University graduate in any Mechanical & Electrical Engineering field.
• Minimum 10 - 15 years of working experience in a similar industry or in construction.
• Good exposure in elevator & escalator industry.
• Understanding of business strategy and products.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Knowledge of elevator operation and service management.
