What you’ll do

In this pivotal role, you'll oversee and critically assess Piping Engineering deliverables crafted by contractors, focusing on stress calculation notes and stress analysis reports for Hull and Topside. Your expertise will guide the evaluation of stress-related Material Requisitions (MR) such as spring hangers, rigid struts, and sliding plate systems. You'll provide ingenious solutions to complex stress systems, including Gas Turbine Compressors and LNG cargo tank systems, as well as cryogenic applications.

• Review Piping Material Specifications (PMS) for Process and Utility Services.
• Assess pipe wall thickness calculations in accordance with ASME B31.3.
• Evaluate branch reinforcement calculations and piping item specifications.
• Analyze Technical Bid Evaluation documents.
• Engage in technical discussions and review vendor drawings.

What you’ll bring

Your profound understanding of regulations, codes, and standards will be crucial, alongside your comprehensive grasp of offshore engineering practices pertinent to hull/topsides layout and piping design in the Oil & Gas sector. You bring extensive design experience in piping engineering, stress analysis, and detailed design, acquired with leading design contractors or Oil & Gas companies.

• Proficiency in piping materials and compliance with specifications.
• Experience in FLNG, FPSO, or floaters projects.
• Mastery of piping discipline fundamentals and cross-disciplinary requirements.
• Competence in Navisworks & CAESAR II is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Class rules for floating facilities.
• Require to travel with 50% frequency
