Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rotating Equipment Maintenance Manager to join their team in Klang. You will also provide maintenance support for major plant maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or chemical engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in operation and maintenance within the chemical, industrial gases or manufacturing sectors.

What you'll do:
As a Rotating Equipment Maintenance Manager, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of operations. You will be directly involved in supervising critical machinery maintenance, providing invaluable support to the Engineer during Plant Turnaround Management. Your expertise will be crucial in originating and developing analysis information for rapidly repairing equipment. You'll also play a key role in overseeing the completion of maintenance work, guiding your team through complex tasks while ensuring quality standards are met. Furthermore, you'll be tasked with developing, implementing, evaluating maintenance procedures within your team while making recommendations for improvements.
- Lead and perform maintenance function job in time and in cost effective manner.
- Assist Engineer in Plant Turnaround Management. Oversee on all maintenance activity at site.
- Originate and develop analysis information for rapidly repairing equipment by study of operating and repair manuals.
- Make recommendations for improving the repair cycle. Provide manning level forecasts for supervisors and estimate the duration of outages.
- Oversee the completion of maintenance work, guide and assist maintenance team as necessary with complex task and perform quality inspections of work as appropriate.
- Work out the method statement of maintenance work especially on critical and major maintenance work.
- Develop, implement, evaluate on maintenance procedure and system in maintenance team, make recommendation on the improvement.
- Patrol and monitor work areas and examine tools and equipment used by maintenance team.
- Support reliability related job function such as assisting engineer in performing failure root cause analysis.
- Execute on job training for supervisors and fitters on multiple maintenance skills and knowledge.
