A leading FMCG manufacturing company is recruiting for an Assistant Maintenance Manager job to oversee, plan, schedule and ensure execution of daily, weekly and monthly activities to ensure smooth operations of the plant.
About the Assistant Maintenance Manager Role: In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the operations for efficiency and safety while ensuring that the plant is safe to operate and that all applicable regulatory requirements are always followed.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring the plant/engineering activities are compliant with Quality System
Working closely with internally or with third party service providers on projects and engineering activities
Ensuring plant operations, maintenance, cost efficiency and productivity of the plant
Managing new equipment installation or modifications in the production lines
Managing projects relates to plant continuous improvement and ensure the plant operate in efficient manner with desired safety and quality standard
Implementing and improving preventive maintenance system
Ensuring the process and equipment are compliant to safety regulations
Forecasting the maintenance budget with justification for shutdown, and managing preventive maintenance related tasks
Planning for and executing annual plant shutdown
To succeed in this Assistant Maintenance Manager role, you will need to have experience working with conveyors and rotating equipment, and be committed to achieve efficient and safe operation in line with the company’s high level of technical standards.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
Five years of hands on mechanical maintenance experience in the FMCG industry
Exposure to 5S, TPM, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is a plus and an added advantage
Ability to work cross-functionally, and manage the expectations of stakeholder from different departments
Strong leadership qualities and strong stakeholder management ability and think strategically
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
