What you'll do:

As an Application Engineer specialising in Pneumatics & Electric Automation, your role will be multifaceted. You will be responsible for providing technical support, developing solutions tailored to client needs, conducting site visits for evaluations and recommendations, delivering customer training programs, supporting project implementations from start to finish, and providing valuable market feedback for future product development. Your expertise will play a crucial role in driving product adoption and meeting customer needs.

• Act as the primary technical contact for enquiries, guiding customers in product selection and system design.
• Develop tailored solutions to address client needs considering operational requirements, environmental conditions, and budget constraints.
• Serve as a domain expert advising on applications and standard processes.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate customer needs, assess existing setups, and provide recommendations for improvements or new installations.
• Deliver training programs and workshops to customers ensuring their teams are proficient.
• Support project implementation from the initial design phase to final deployment.
• Provide market feedback and insights gathered from customer interactions to product management and R&D teams.

The ideal candidate for this Application Engineer role brings a wealth of experience in application engineering or technical support within the automation industry. With a strong technical background in feeding units, robotic handling, electric automation systems you are well versed in industry standards across Southeast Asia and Taiwan. Your proficiency in CAD software, PLC programming and Fieldbus commissioning sets you apart. Above all else your excellent communication skills allow you to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in application engineering or technical support within the automation industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of feeding units, robotic handling, electric automation systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards, automation protocols, and safety laws in Southeast Asia and Taiwan.
• Proficiency in using CAD software, PLC programming, Fieldbus commissioning.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
