What you'll do:
As a Senior Engineering Director, you will play a crucial role in guiding your division towards reaching all metrics of accomplishment. You will be responsible for overseeing the division’s contribution to the company's performance indicator, objectives, and long-term vision. Your leadership will be key in executing strategic sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives for the business. You will lead your team to deliver cost savings, achieve breakthrough performances, and meet other critical KPIs as required by the company. Your keen eye for detail will be vital in conducting performance analysis with regards to design faults related to component specification, tolerance stack up, process capability, incoming material review, process capability, and quality robustness.
- Guide the division in reaching all metrics of accomplishment
- Oversee the division’s contribution to the Company performance indicator, objectives and long term vision
- Execute strategic sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives for the business
- Lead the team to deliver cost savings, achieve breakthrough performances and other critical KPIs as required by the company
- Conduct performance analysis with regards to design faults related to component specification, tolerance stack up, process capability, incoming material review, process capability and quality robustness
- Coordinate Yield/Scrap/Cost/Quality/HPU/Capability Improvement Programs to meet Financial commits
- Manage dispatching of work orders according to the build plan
- Strive for workmanship and quality improvements
- Manage and control direct material usage
- Maintain inventories at desired level
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Engineering Director role will have a degree in Engineering and a strong sense of business acumen in manufacturing activities of high-tech companies. You should bring at least 15 years of working experience, with a minimum of 10 years in a high volume, high mix multinational manufacturing environment. Your background should include 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and managing large scale multinational organisation.
